    Designed to help you confidently teach letter sounds (phonics) and digraphs (th, ch, sh, ck etc) and then introduce CVC words to begin spelling, reading & writing.

    Children need to be confident in knowing their letter sounds before starting spelling, reading & writing. It’s important to teach your children 

    βœ… letter sounds (phonics), not the letter names: i as in igloo, not i as in ice

    Next we move onto CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant): βœ… cat, bet, kit, rot, mum

    Then we work on digraphs βœ… th/th, sh, ch, ck, wh, ng, ph, qu and add these to
