Routines & Visual Schedules
Need help getting organised?!
Routines may seem 'automatic' to us as adults, but they take a lot of:
✅ executive functioning skills ✅ time management ✅ working memory ✅ fine motor skills ✅ gross motor skills ✅ motor planning
as well as understanding the ✅ weather (to get dressed appropriately)
and involve ✅ problem solving for times when the milk runs out or your favourite cereal box is empty!
Visual schedules to take away the pressure and stress of having to remember what to do and in what order, especially when there so many skills required to complete each task!
