Shopping Trolley Activity Pack
Cut out. Laminate. Cut out again to make waterproof (and child proof!)
Page 1 - 3 – Matching Game: Cut out the individual circles on page 2 & 3. Use page 1 as a board and match up the words to the pictures, one at a time.
For older children, why not turn it into a game of memory, matching the word to the picture!
Page 2, 4 & 5 – Simple Addition: Cut out the individual circles on page 5. Pick two pictures of vegetables and place one in each circle on the left hand side. Add the vegetables together in each circle and use the numbers to complete the sum.
Page 6 – Write a Shopping List: Choose 4 ingredients (words or pictures) to add to your shopping list. Write out the name of the vegetable on the lines.

These were so helpful with my little one’s. It helped me to be able to get them interested in retelling the story by using the pictures which l put on pop sticks stick.

Constructed the poppies by sticking on a small piece of cardboard and then attaching to a stick to push into the dirt.

Thank you for this awesome idea! My printer wasn’t actually working so I couldn’t print out your beautiful printable but I used the idea & cardboard to make a wreath…loved the taping of straw & threading with a pipe cleaner to keep it together, so clever.
